How do I remove a joint account holder?
The owners you name on your RCU account define who has access to your account information and funds. Occasionally, life changes may mean you want to remove joint owners from your account. To remove a joint owner from your existing RCU account, please follow the steps below.
- Complete and sign the Joint Removal Authorization Form. This document must be signed by all Members currently on the account, including the Member(s) to be removed.
- Complete and sign the Membership Application with all Members who will remain on the account.
- If there are any name changes to individuals staying on the account, please include a copy of the Member’s current ID.
